Vetshouse Produce in Virginia Beach

The Vetshouse Produce Market in Virginia Beach started off as just a small crop of corn and some onions and has grown into a full fledged Garden offering Fresh Produce for sale to residents and visitors.  The proceeds of these sweet and juicy vegetables goes to help the Vets House, a Non-Profit, 501c(3) to remain open and provide much needed housing and job services to Military Veterans here in Virginia Beach.  There are a variety of vegetables available, picked fresh, usually just hours before Sale on Saturdays at the Vetshouse Produce Market.

The Produce Project

Every business has a beginning, and this is where you talk about yours. People want to know what opportunity you saw or how your passion led to the creation of something new. Talk about your roots–people wanna know you have some.

We’re also storing recipes for our Fresh Ingredients.  Check out what we have so far.  You’ll love the many things you can do with Fresh Vegetables from our very own garden!

Vetshouse Produce installed a Small Greenhouse so certain plants can grow all year round.  The garden is protected by a Solar Powered guard fence, to keep the squirrels and other pets away.   They have installed an irrigation system and pump to the well to keep the garden watered.  You are welcome to come by and take a look at the growing project and volunteers are always welcome.  Send us an email or give us a call.

Stop in at the Vetshouse Produce at 200 N. Oceana Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA on Saturdays between 11-3pm, starting in May 2017.
